Vice Chair, Administration and Finance
Erin Allen, BS, MHA, is Vice Chair for Finance and Administration in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington. She serves as a strategic leader in partnership with the department chair, vice chairs, directors, and faculty leaders, overseeing the department’s business and administrative functions.
Erin joined the department in 2009, bringing more than 20 years of experience to her role. During her tenure, she has supported the department’s growth and worked to empower faculty, staff, and trainees to advance the department’s mission while achieving their individual professional goals.
In collaboration with the directors of Finance, Operations, and People and Workforce, Erin helps lead a shared vision grounded in integrity, compassion, innovation, and effectiveness. Together, they are recognized as trusted partners and foster an environment where individuals can learn and grow as professionals, while maintaining a strong commitment to operational excellence and accountability.
