UW Pediatrics had a strong presence at the annual Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) Meeting in Oahu. We joined thousands of leading pediatric clinicians, researchers, and medical educators united by a common mission: advancing scientific discovery and promoting child and adolescent health.

Dr. Bonnie Ramsey was honored with the prestigious and highly competitive APS Howland Award for her groundbreaking and life-saving work in cystic fibrosis. Numerous faculty, fellows, residents and students presented their health equity work, basic and clinical science, education and community research, at times to sold-out audiences. And there was a phenomenal gathering of over 250 people at the UW/Seattle Children’s reception.

We shared our learnings, innovations and camaraderie with a broader national audience at PAS of almost 9,000 attendees. We are very proud of UW Pediatrics’ vital work and advancements.
