Seattle Children’s Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program

We invite you to participate in the Increasing Influenza Vaccination Rates for Clinic Patients Project, led by Dr. Annika Hofstetter and Dr. Yasi Fatemi. The project aims to improve influenza vaccination rates among all Children’s outpatients and ensure 90% or more of all medically fragile populations (as defined by US News & World Report) seen in our outpatient clinics between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31 of each year receive influenza vaccination. During the on-season cycle, participants will review metrics, assess intervention strategies, and identify and mitigate barriers to influenza vaccination during the 2024-2025 flu season.

To receive Part-4 MOC credit, participants must commit to participate in the improvement effort, complete all required forms and attend three meetings –

  • Kick-off: Monday, Oct. 7 from 8 to 9 a.m. Pacific time or Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 4 to 5 p.m.
  • Progress: Monday, Dec. 9 from 8 to 9 a.m. or Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 4 to 5 p.m.
